I find Septic Flesh have a better use of the orchestra but their last two albums have been let downs. Didn’t even have to listen to the song. Kickstarter or any other fundraisers should be posted in weekly threads. Check out this guy too.

I just see fleshgod apocalypse the violation posted all the time. They’re super talented and they headlined my local metal festival last year so apocapypse the respect to them, but it always sounded to me like that there were too many moments where the symphonic bits were struggling to keep up with the death metal side of things. Still, I can’t fault their originality. Give their first album Oracles a listen some time if haven’t already.
On its own the DM sounds awesome – epic, grand death metal that has an ear for melody is a cool concept – but the strings just don’t work consistently enough for me.
